ToggleAbout the Company
Nanotein Technologies is an investor-backed Bay Area startup biotech (Berkeley based) that is using its proprietary protein-based platform technology to innovate the next-generation of cell therapy (e.g., CAR-T, CAR-NK, TCR-T, etc.) bio-manufacturing reagents.
Our cutting-edge technology allows us to make cancer cell therapies that are more effective and last longer than the current state-of-the-art; driving the best possible outcomes for everyday cancer patients.
We are a well-funded, seed stage organization, with exciting commercial partnerships in place. We are rapidly approaching the launch of our first product, with plans to quickly develop and launch more.
The Opportunity
Nanotein is looking for an intern to join our growing team. While the position will start during the summer (full or part-time, depending on candidate preference), if it’s a good fit, the intern would ideally be open to continuing during the school year (on a part-time basis). Therefore, a local candidate is ideal.
In the intern role you will help company scientists and its founders with lab tasks, experiments and general upkeep (e.g. culturing T cells, running functional assays, autoclaving glassware etc.). This is a perfect role for a local university student, looking to bolster their CV and gain exposure to a particularly hot and rapidly growing area within biotech (i.e. cell therapies used to treat cancers).
